Water Rescue Near Bridge Street Bridge

At 11:59 Manchester Fire Department was dispatched for an adult male that jumped from the Bridge Street Bridge. Witnesses stated they saw the male subject jump over the Northern rail on the East Bound span.

First arriving companies were on scene at 12:01 with a visual of the subject in the water approximately 15’ from eastern shore.

Rescue and Engine 11 personnel accessed the patient with an inflatable raft and commenced CPR.

Patient was transported to CMC hospital by ambulance with AMR personnel and two MFD personnel.
