Two Teenagers Injured In High-Speed Crash On Lake Shore Road Friday Afternoon
MANCHESTER, NH - Manchester Fire, AMR, and police responded to a report of a vehicle that had rolled over and crashed into trees on Lake Shore Road.
The first Manchester Fire unit at the scene reported there was no entrapment, and there were two teenage patients who were in the vehicle when it crashed.
AMR provided medical treatment to both teenage boys at the scene and transported both to Elliot Hospital with what appeared to be minor and non-life-threatening injuries.
Information gathered at the scene indicated the vehicle was traveling South on Lake Shore Road when it lost control on the paved portion coming around a slight curve in the road. The vehicle veered to the right onto the lawn of a house for several feet.
The vehicle appears to have launched into the air and several large trees, snapping one of them. Parts of the vehicle hit the tree approximately 10 to 12 feet off the ground.
Initial information is that both the driver and passenger were restrained and air bogs deployed which appear to have prevented serious injury. The teenage driver is newly licensed according to the information gathered.
Eastern Towing removed the vehicle, and Manchester Police are investigating the accident.
No other information is expected to be provided by authorities.
