Two Crime Scenes On Amherst St, Possible Stabbing Involved

Manchester Police, Fire, and AMR responded to Bronstein Park near the corner of Amherst Street and Walnut St for a reported stabbing at 2:52 p.m. Wednesday according to the dispatch log.

An adult female with what witnesses reported as stab wounds were transported from the scene in unknown condition to a local hospital by AMR ambulance.

A short time later witnesses report an adult female was taken into custody on Amherst Street in a walkway next to the Manchester City Library.

At this time both scenes are cordoned off with crime scene tape, and officers are standing by.

There is no information on the victim or if any charges have been filed in the incident.
