This Week In Manchester: Weekly News Round-Up

This past week saw the honoring of those who have served our country and community, as well as movement in the murder cases of Harmony Montgomery and Stephen and Djeswende Reid.


Community:


On Sunday, Oct 23, Honor Flights to Washington, D.C. allowed veterans to visit memorials and honor their service.


On Monday, Oct 24, New Hampshire’s Teacher of the Year was announced.


Crime:


On Monday, Oct 24, Adam Montgomery was charged with the Murder of Harmony Montgomery, as well as Falsifying Evidence, Abuse of Corpse, and Tampering with Witnesses. Court documents show Kayla Montgomery is the key witness.


On Tuesday, Oct 25, police investigated a suspicious package at a Manchester mosque.


Also on Tuesday, Raheem Tyler was sentenced for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon after having posted videos of the firearm on social media.


On Wednesday, Oct 26, SWAT executed a search warrant, resulting in the arrest of 6 Manchester residents.


Also on Wednesday, the man charged with killing a couple in Concord was brought to NH from VT. He will be represented by the same attorney as Adam Montgomery


Also on Wednesday, Renee Crawford was sentenced for embezzling funds from the college she previously worked for.
