This Is A Drill....Only A Drill !!
The Manchester Boston Regional Airport will be holding a drill on Thursday that involves multiple fire, EMS, and police agencies.
The Airport will conduct an emergency preparedness exercise on Thursday, from approximately 9 a.m. until noon.
The Airport will remain open and operational during the drill, and there will be NO impact on passengers and normal Airport operations.
The exercise involves over 75 agencies across the state and will assess the emergency responses of the Airport, the airlines, and our mutual aid partners.
During the drill that begins Thursday morning, there will be a large number of emergency response vehicles in the area.
The airport would like to inform the public, and there is no need for alarm.
Should a real situation occur, the public will be notified that it is not part of the drill.
The photo provided by the Manchester Boston Regional Airport shows a previous drill and an example of the large-scale involvement from agencies.
