Storms are coming and a few moments of your time can help your own neighborhoods

Yes we know many will say "this is the DPW's job" but before the streets flood, you can take a proactive role.

Several times a year when the rain comes down at heavy levels streets can flood damaging property including cars and houses.

Throughout the season items sometimes block storm drains, and the little extra blockage can exasperate the flooding.

If you go outside and see storm drains that can use a little extra help, take the time. Your help will be appreciated and yes we know "it is the DPW's job" but everyone can use some help.
