Shooting Closed Front Street Manchester SWAT Respond

MANCHESTER, NH - Manchester fire, EMS, and police responded to a report of a person who had a gunshot wound at 389 Front Street Wednesday at about 3 p.m.
When responders arrived there was a man sitting on the front steps saying he had been shot. Police communicated with the man who at that time was unclear
in communicating the description of the shooter and where they were located.
Police with guns drawn moved a cruiser close to the victim and evacuated the man from the steps to an ambulance which was standing by.
Front Street was closed down due to the fact the shooter hadn’t been located and several people refused to exit the house which is well known to police and has had previous SWAT incidents involving standoffs
The man who was in his thirties according to radio broadcasts was transported to Catholic Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the foot. Manchester Police say the injuries the 34-year-old man sustained were non-life-threatening.
SWAT responded to the scene with additional personnel and equipment including a robot which was used to make entry into the house. Shortly after the robot made entry a few females exited the house.
Police with guns drawn then entered the house accompanied by a K9. Shortly after additional people exited the house and were detained in a safe area away from the house.
A woman who walked up to the scene while it was still active, identified herself as someone who was associated with the house was detained by police. After speaking to the woman for about 30 minutes she was transported from the scene by police but was not placed in handcuffs.
Police say all subjects involved have been identified, the victim and the suspect know each other.
Anthony Barahona, 26 is wanted by Manchester Police in connection to the incident and should be considered armed and dangerous.
He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and black shorts, the gun allegedly used has not been recovered at this time.
Barahona Is wanted for first-degree assault and reckless conduct.

Police eventually cleared the SWAT team and Front Street reopened. After the street reopened, a police cruiser remained in front of the address securing the scene.
