Searching For Sandler At The Manchester International Film Festival

One man’s regretful decline of a beer with Sandler turned into a cross-country quest to find Sandler again once again. This journey has landed right at the Rex Theater, with a red carpet premiere of the film that chronicles it all - Finding Sandler.

Billy Joel, Emeril Lagasse, Mick Foley, Carmen Electra, Dee Snider, Paul Schaffer, and Radioman all support David Seth Cohen on his quest, which was inspired by a dream he had one night while living in his grandmother’s basement. Armed with passion, charisma, and a very big “what if?” that he just couldn’t stop asking himself, Cohen quit his job and started his chaotic yet fascinating journey.

At 6 pm on Saturday 8/13, the community is invited to walk the carpet where there will be plenty of opportunities to meet other film-goers and take photos with the festival banner. The movie starts at 7 pm and features a Q&A with Cohen after.

Guests are also invited to stay for a special showing of An American Werewolf in London which includes a special live podcast recording with A Dark Impressions Podcast about the psychological factors that go into making the film.

Tickets are $20 ($10 for students) which includes all of the films for that Saturday.
