Police Say Man Was Uncooperative After Being Found Injured Outside Manchester Hotel
MANCHESTER, NH - Manchester police, fire, and AMR ambulance responded to the area of the Even Hotel on John Devine Drive for a possible assault Monday.
When responders arrived at 4:30 a.m. they found a man outside of the hotel with a laceration to the head. The man refused medical treatment and remained at the hotel but was uncooperative with police according to MPD Spokesperson Heather Hamel.
Investigators found another scene at the Sunoco station on South Willow Street. Police found blood and a shell casing at that scene.
Manchester Fire and AMR ambulance were requested to return to the scene a short time later for a report that the injured man was having a seizure. It is unclear if he was transported to a hospital or remained at the scene.
Monday morning Detectives worked at the Sunoco station documenting the scene, and gathering evidence. A pickup truck was parked near where the Detectives were working but it is not known if the vehicle was involved in the investigation.
Several Manchester Police officers were seen outside the Even Hotel, and entering and exiting with what appeared to be evidence bags. The exit at the North end of the hotel was blocked by crime scene tape, and an evidence marker was on the ground near the back of the hotel.

The hotel remained closed for over a year and was sold and reopened by a different company under the Even Hotel brand name.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and trying to determine if the two scenes are connected.
