Motorcyclist Seriously Injured On Elm St. Near Brook

Wednesday just after 3:00 pm, Manchester Fire, AMR ambulance and police responded to a report of a car that had collided with a motorcycle on Elm St near Brook St.

Manchester Police say that the collision involved a Mercedes operated by a 64-year-old man, and a Kawasaki motorcycle operated by a 32-year-old man.

The driver of the car was evaluated by fire and EMS and refused medical treatment. The motorcyclist was unresponsive and was rushed to a local hospital with serious injuries.

Elm Street between Brook and Harrison Street remained closed for several hours while police investigated the accident.

The cause and factors of this crash are under investigation by the Manchester Police Department Traffic Unit.
