Man Dies Inside Warming Shelter On Union Street

Manchester Police are investigating the death of a man inside the 1269 Cafe on Union Street.

The facility is currently available to people as a warming shelter during the winter months.

MFD, and AMR responded to a call for a medical condition around 125 pm. While en route they were advised CPR was in progress.

Attempts to revive the man were unsuccessful.

MPD officers were on-scene throughout the afternoon.

Police sources say the death doesn't appear to be suspicious and appears to be a medical-related incident.

No additional information is expected to be released.
