Man Charged With Reckless Conduct After Accidental Self-Inflicted Wound

On December 9, 2022, at approximately 5:40 PM, Manchester Police responded to a Kelly Street apartment for an accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Arriving officers spoke with the victim, 29-year-old Jared Charles who said he was in a bedroom attempting to unchamber a round inside his gun when he fired one shot and injured his hand.

There were other people in the apartment at the time, but no one else was injured.
