Free Comic Book Day a Huge Success for Double Midnight Comics

Earlier this month, the city of Manchester was overrun by heroes and villains alike, gathering at Double Midnight Comic's new location The Factory On Willow. Fans started lining up at 6 pm the night before to be some of the first ones inside to get a hold of some exclusive comics during Free Comic Book Day. This event has been celebrated annually across the globe for the past 2 decades.

The first 100 people inside got prizes and those who cosplayed had a chance to win free tickets to the Granite State Comic Con in September. Attendees got to see some of their favorite movie cars on display, meet local artists, enjoy great food, explore the factory during a scavenger hunt, and even train in the ways of the lightsaber.

Top cosplayers who travel all around for similar events showed up to support Double Midnight's first Free Comic Book Day event since their reopening at The Factory on Willow. They included Sophia Cormier, Maia Sousa, and Carley Winn. Recently, Winn has been known as a featured cosplay guest at Fan Expo Boston in 2022.

Double Midnight Comics saw a large turnout, including a line stretching throughout the property and down the sidewalk for most of the day. But, the team at Double Midnight Comics is just getting started in their new location - they're already planning ways to make next year's event even better.
