Manchester Firefighters Helping And Working With The Kids Of Manchester
Manchester firefighters played a scrimmage basketball game at the Manchester Boys and Girls Club on Friday. It was a great opportunity to keep the relationship strong between first responders and the youth of Manchester.
As good as the firefighters are at fighting fires and saving lives, they were no match against the kids who enjoyed a victory over the firefighters in the scrimmage game.
The firefighters of station 7 also recently stopped and purchased some girl scout cookies, showcasing yet another way to support kids that are doing something positive.
Keep up the good work, don’t eat too many cookies, and practice those jump shots.
Manchester Professional Firefighters Local IAFF 856 also put together a youth fire muster that will be held soon.
