City of Manchester Announces Free Movies in the Park Summer Series
The Office of Mayor Joyce Craig, the Manchester Economic Development Office, Parks & Recreation, City Library, and Manchester Public Television announced a ‘2022 Movies in the Park summer series at Veterans Park, 723 Elm Street
Movies will begin at 8:00 pm on Wednesday, June 29th, Wednesday, July 13th, Wednesday, July 27th, and Wednesday, August 10th.
All are free and open to the public. FIND THE FULL SCHEDULE BY CLICKING HERE. “The Summer Movie Series is a great reason to come downtown, grab dinner and watch a movie with your family and friends,” said Mayor Joyce Craig. “I want to thank Jones Street Investment Partners for sponsoring these movie nights, and our City departments for pulling it all together.” “The Manchester City Library is happy to help bring some movie magic to Veterans Park for some neighborhood movie nights,” said Caleb Moshier, Manchester City Library. “It’s going to be an amazing summer for downtown Manchester.” “The Manchester Economic Development Office is thrilled to partner with the Manchester City Library, Parks and Recreation Division, and the Mayor’s Office for the return of movies to Veterans Park,” said Jodie Nazaka, Economic Development Director. “The Summer Movie Series is an excellent opportunity for the community to enjoy Manchester’s vibrant Downtown, grab takeout from various unique eatery’s, and share an experience and build memories. This series is free for all to attend and helps kickoff summer in Downtown Manchester.” The 2022 Summer Movie Series was sponsored by Jones Street Investment Partners. Manchester Parks & Recreation will staff the movie nights with Manchester Public Television providing production support. The film rights were secured through the Manchester City Library, and the Manchester Economic Development office will provide marketing and outreach materials.
