Boys & Girls Club of Manchester Inducts First All-Female Class into the BGCM Hall of Fame

The Boys & Girls Club of Manchester inducted three women into its Hall of Fame on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at their 555 Union Street Clubhouse. Over 200 guests were in attendance to celebrate the 2023 Inductees.

The Inductees included:

  • Catherine Kabala, is a BGCM alum, a Club volunteer, and a former staff member. In 2010, Catherine was named BGCM’s Youth of the Year. Catherine currently works as a counselor at Central High School.

  • Ann Pappas, was inducted posthumously, honoring her legacy. Ann was a long-time staff member who took pride in her kitchen and was the first to prepare breakfast and dinners for all members of the Club. She was loved by everyone who had the privilege to meet her.

  • Jocelyn Mahoney, is a BGCM alum, a Club volunteer, and a former staff member, as well as our 1998 Youth of the Year. Each year Jocelyn honors her parents with a scholarship for BGCM graduates. Jocelyn currently works at MyTurn as the Director of Development and Finance

Donations made in honor of these inductees will go towards supporting BGCM members. If you’d like to make a donation, please visit: https://mbgcnh.org/news_and_events/annual_hall_of_fame/
