Akim Alleyne Wanted For Homicide Located And In Custody
MANCHESTER, NH - Manchester Information has confirmed through law enforcement sources that convicted felon Akim Alleyne of Manchester is in custody.
Manchester Information confirmed that Alleyne was located outside New Hampshire by US Marshalls and is being extradited to New Hampshire.
On December 8th, Manchester police, fire, and AMR ambulance responded to Lowell Street near Maple Street for a report of an assault and an unresponsive man near the edge of the street.
Witnesses told police Thomas and another man were arguing near Domino’s. While arguing, witnesses reported that the man knocked Thomas down and assaulted him on the sidewalk. As witnesses called 911, the suspect walked away. He returned briefly before leaving again.
Thomas's death was classified as a homicide and a warrant was issued for Alleyne a short time after the incident. Police searched several locations in Manchester and in New Hampshire
An autopsy was completed and determined that Te-Jay Thomas died from blunt force trauma to the head and neck.
