Adam Montgomery Trial: First Week Wrap-Up

The first week of the Adam Montgomery trial for Harmony Montgomery's murder wrapped up today at 3:11 p.m.

This week included jury selection, a tour of the key physical locations in the case, and opening statements. Additionally, 8 witnesses took the stand, including Crystal Sorey, Harmony's biological mother, and Kayla Montgomery, Harmony's stepmother, who testified to witnessing her murder.

Adam Montgomery only appeared in court on the first day of jury selections. On the second day, he appeared via WebEx to discuss his acknowledgment of guilt over some of the charges and to be told his procedure for letting the court know if he would be in attendance each day.
