Woman Out On Bail Arrested For Motor Vehicle Theft

On January 23, 2023, at approximately 12:30 PM, Manchester Police responded to 197 Beech St for a report of a stolen motor vehicle.

A witness told police they saw a woman walking down Beech St and then abruptly stop in the driveway of the above-mentioned address. The witness reported that the woman got into the vehicle and drove the wrong way down Beech St.

Shortly after, police stopped the vehicle at Pine and Valley St. The suspect was identified as 46-year-old Shanola Webb of Manchester (no set address). Webb was not cooperative and ignored the officer’s instructions and attempted to walk away.

Webb was taken into custody and charged with Theft by Unauthorized Taking and Resisting Arrest. It was also determined that Webb had been arrested earlier this month and had active bail conditions. She was subsequently charged with Breach of Bail.
