Woman Arrested After Deceased Dog Found In Trash

Manchester Police have arrested 37-year-old Keryn Lynch, who is in connection with the disposal of her deceased dog.

This case dates back to January 19, 2022, when Manchester Police responded to the Fairfield Inn on South Porter St after someone found a trash bag that appeared to have an animal inside.

The woman saw a tail sticking out and called the police. The caller told police she had been walking her dog when he became interested in a trash bag on the side of the road behind the hotel. Police opened the bag and found the body of a pit bull.

Police were able to identify the owner as Lynch and, through the investigation, determined that she had disposed of the dog behind the hotel. A warrant was issued for her arrest in February 2022. Yesterday, February 8, 2023, Lynch was charged in absentia as she was already being held at the Hillsborough County Jail. She faces a charge of Unlawful Activities.
