Special Enforcement on Super Bowl Sunday Leads to 5 Arrests

Yesterday, the New Hampshire State Police and the Manchester Police Department conducted a DUI Saturation Patrol in the greater Manchester area on Sunday evening. This joint effort focused on identifying and removing impaired drivers from our roadways to ensure fans were able to make it home safely.

During the enforcement effort, Troopers and Officers conducted 133 traffic stops, issued 13 summonses, and made 5 arrests:

The following subjects were arrested:

Megan G. Elwell, 43 of Lawrence, MA for Aggravated driving under the influence, Disobeying a police officer, Resisting arrest, Assault on an on-duty police officer, Possession of a controlled drug, Transporting controlled drugs in a motor vehicle, and Falsifying physical evidence. Elwell was held in custody and was scheduled for arraignment today.

Adonis Delos Santos Carrion, 27 of Manchester for Possession of a controlled drug, Transporting controlled drugs in a motor vehicle, and Obedience to traffic signals. Delos Santos Carrion was released on his own recognizance to appear in court on March 11, 2024.

Antoine Robidoux-Hurtubise, 20 of Laval, Quebec, for Driving under the influence, Driving with an excess alcohol concentration, Minor transporting alcohol, Minor in possession of alcohol, and Speed. Robidoux-Hurtubise was released on his own recognizance to appear in court on March 11, 2024.

Shawn Christie, 27 of Bedford, for Speeding, Disobeying a police officer, and License required – subsequent offense. Christie was released on his own recognizance to appear in in court on March 18, 2024.

Christy Jackson, 40, of Manchester, NH for a warrant out of Bethlehem, NH.

The New Hampshire State Police and the Manchester Police Department remain committed to combating impaired driving and other aggressive driving behaviors. This joint effort was funded by and made possible through our partnership with the New Hampshire Office of Highway Safety and they would like to remind all motorists to make responsible decisions, never drink and drive, and always designate a sober driver.
