Sex Offender Found Hiding In Closet After Police Chase Him
Updated: Jan 4, 2022
Manchester police spotted a wanted subject with active warrants in the area of Green Street in Manchester and attempted to stop him on Wednesday.
Officers attempted to make contact with the man, identified as Timothy Drelick, 28, of Manchester, but he was accused of fleeing from police, ignoring the officer’s orders to stop. Other officers responded, set up a perimeter, and a K-9 conducted a track, with negative results.
Manchester police later learned Drelick might be staying nearby in another house on Green Street.
The tenants allowed police to search the apartment and Drelick was found hiding in a closet, according to police, and he was arrested without incident.
Drelick had four outstanding warrants for duty to report as a sex offender, change of registration information by a sex offender, violation of bail conditions, and a parole violation. He was also charged with resisting arrest.
Drelick was arrested in December for throwing a kitten at a car and has a long list of previous convictions which are outlined here - Click Here
