NH Fugitive of the Week Arrested in Vermont

The New Hampshire Department of Corrections announces the arrest of former Fugitive of the Week, Torin Michael Cain Ruggeri. Ruggeri, 30, was wanted on a parole violation, non-compliance with Drug Treatment Court, and failure to appear on 12/22/22.

Ruggeri was featured as the Department’s Fugitive of the Week on June 7, 2023. Following this feature, on June 14, 2023, Ruggeri was apprehended in the State of Vermont on other criminal charges and is now in custody. Ruggeri is currently being held at Southern State Correctional Facility, in Springfield, Vermont and awaiting extradition to New Hampshire.

The Fugitive of the Week program was launched by the Department of Corrections in March of this year to encourage public assistance in locating individuals who have absconded from supervision. Each Wednesday, the Department shares information on a specific fugitive through various communications platforms, and with law enforcement through the New Hampshire Information and Analysis Center.
