Manchester Police Respond To Reports Of Shots Fired On Hall Street

Manchester Police responded to a report of gunshots heard on Hall Street at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Responding officers found shell casings on Auburn South Back between Hall Street and Wilson Street.

Officers shut down streets in the area while they searched for any additional evidence. Detectives were called to the scene and placed several evidence markers on the ground.

People in the neighborhood reported a dark-colored car driving in the area at the time gunshots were heard, however, police did not release any details. Witnesses said they heard six to eight shots and a car speeding off from the area.

No ambulance was called to the scene and did not appear any people were struck by gunfire. Police canvassed the area gathering information from several nearby video cameras.
