Manchester Man Charged in Death of Toddler

Claudy Cassy, 35, was indicted on 8 charges last month, including Manslaughter and Reckless Conduct after his 2-year-old son was exposed to fentanyl and died last October. The child was found to have acute fentanyl intoxication.

Cassy's other charges are related to possession of various drugs, including fentanyl, cocaine, and crack cocaine.

Cassy was released on his own recognizance, but cannot have unsupervised contact with children. He will be arraigned later this month.
