Man Out On Bail Charged In Stabbing
On June 15, 2022, at approximately 1:15 AM, Manchester Police responded to Elliot Hospital for staff reporting that a man had walked into the emergency room with a stab wound.
Arriving officers spoke with the victim who said he had been behind 241 Pine St and Pericles Club when a man he knew approached him with 2 females. The victim said they had a conversation that evolved into an argument and the man pulled out a knife and stabbed him. His injuries were non-life-threatening.
Through the course of the investigation, the suspect was identified as 36-year-old Katon Lang of Manchester. Lang was located and arrested. He was charged with First Degree Assault and Felon in Possession of a Dangerous Weapon.
At the time of the incident, Lang was out on bail for a domestic violence charge, so he also faces a bail violation. Today, (6/20/22) Lang appeared in Manchester Circuit Court where his bail was revoked.
