Man Assaulted After Running From Assailants

On May 18, 2023 at approximately 3:30 am, Manchester Police responded to the Zoo Health Club Express for a report of an assault.

The male victim told police he had been walking by the homeless shelter at 199 Manchester St when a vehicle approached him and three people got out and tried to rob him. The victim ran and when he reached the Zoo he banged on the door to try and get someone’s attention.

At that point the suspects grabbed him from behind and assaulted him. The suspects stole his phone and wallet and left the area. The victim suffered minor injuries.
