Man Arrested for Two Robberies
Manchester Police have arrested a city man in connection with two robberies that happened on the same day.
On October 23, 2023, at approximately 10:30 PM, Manchester Police responded to Seven Days Market at 360 Union St for a reported robbery. The caller told police he had gone to the market around 10:20 PM and saw a man on bicycle outside. When leaving the store, the same man approached him while holding large hedge clippers and demanded he give him his wallet. The caller said he gave him cash instead and left the area.
The suspect matched the description of a man involved in robbery at the Family Dollar on Lincoln Street reported earlier in the night. In that incident, a man tried to steal items from the store and when confronted by a female employee, punched the woman in the face.
Through the investigation, police identified the suspect as Farah Ibrahim, 28 of Manchester. He was arrested on Tuesday night and charged with 2 counts of Robbery.
