Man Arrested for Sexual Assault of Two Children

A Manchester man is facing felony sexual assault charges in connection with two children his mother cared for.

In January of this year, Manchester Police were notified that a child who had attended an in-home daycare in the city had reported being sexually assaulted by a man in the home.

Police identified the man as Roshaun Hartford, 28, and through the investigation established probable cause to charge him with Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault-Pattern. Hartford was arrested on February 5, 2024.

This was the second juvenile to come forward with allegations against Hartford. In December 2023, another child reported being assaulted by Hartford. He was arrested on December 27, 2023 and charged with Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault-Pattern and Indecent Exposure.

The victims were unrelated, but both attended the same daycare in Hartford’s mother’s house. The assaults were reported to have happened between 2019 and 2023.
