Man Arrested For October Shooting At Myrtle And Oak
An 18-year-old Manchester man faces multiple charges in connection with a shooting that took place in October 2022.
On October 27, 2022, at approximately 8 PM, Manchester Police received a report of gunshots in the area of Myrtle and Oak Streets. Several officers who were working in the area also heard shots.
Responding officers spoke to witnesses who saw a car leaving the area at a high rate of speed and also found evidence of a shooting near 45 Oak St. Shortly after the gunfire was heard, a male was dropped off at Elliot Hospital with non-life threatening gunshot wounds. The victim was not forthcoming with information.
Through the course of the investigation, police were able to establish probable cause to charge Kais Hammami of Manchester in relation to the incident. He was arrested on January 11, 2022 and charged with Felony Falsification of Physical Evidence, Possession of Marijuana and Breach of Bail.
