Man Arrested For Criminal Threatening Incident

On January 31, 2022, at approximately 8 PM, Manchester Police responded to 580 Valley St for a report of someone pointing a gun at people in a car.


The victim told police that he had left one of the businesses in the plaza and noticed a vehicle parked in the parking lot with its lights off. The victim told police the vehicle then “peeled out” of the parking spot and pulled up alongside of his vehicle. The victim saw a male point what looked to be a small black gun at himself and his passenger. The suspect did not roll down his window or say anything.


Through the investigation, police were able to identify the suspect as 47-year-old Ricky Brodeur of Manchester. Police made contact with Brodeur and located a black pistol-style bb gun at his residence.


Brodeur was charged with 2 counts of Criminal Threatening. It was also learned that Brodeur was a convicted felon. He was additionally charged with Felon in Possession of a Dangerous Weapon. Brodeur was scheduled for arraignment in Hillsborough Superior Court-North (2/1/22).
