Man Arrested and Firearms Seized

Yesterday the Manchester Police Department’s Special Enforcement Division conducted a search warrant in connection with an investigation into Joseph Taylor, 34 of Manchester. Taylor was believed to be selling crack cocaine out of 111 Jewett Street, first floor.

Manchester Police located Taylor and he was taken into custody on an MPD warrant for the Sale of a Controlled Drug – Crack Cocaine, as well as Receiving Stolen Property – Firearm (A Felony).

During the Jewett Street search, police located several firearms including a Sig Sauer P938 9MM Handgun, a Glock 22 .40 Caliber Handgun, a Glock 19 9MM Handgun which was determined to be stolen, a Ruger 9MM Handgun, a Glock Switch, assorted ammunition, and proceeds of drug trafficking.

At the time of his arrest, Mr. Taylor was out on Federal Probation stemming from a previous firearms-related conviction.
