Indictments For Danielle Dauphinais In The Investigation Of The Death Of Elijah "Eli" Lewis

The Hillsborough County Superior Grand Jury handed down several indictments for Danielle Dauphinais, the mother of "Elijah "Eli" Lewis.

Three of the indictments are related to tampering with a witness and cite the dates that the investigation into the missing child was going on across a large area of Merrimack.

Dauphinais was also indicted on second-degree murder, and first-degree murder.

The indictments connected to the murder indictments cite the dates between September 27, 2020, and September 24, 2021.

The body of the 5-year-old was discovered in Abington, MA in October 2021. Authorities searching a wooded area discovered the partially buried remains of a child believed to be Eli, a short time later his identity was verified.
