Hooksett Woman Arrested for DUI and Conduct After
On June 29th, at about 10:30 PM, Hooksett Police received a report of a motor vehicle complaint where a vehicle struck a mailbox on Martins Ferry Road and then continued on towards Hooksett Road without stopping.
Ofc. Lang was able to locate the vehicle in question, a Nissan Murano, turning onto Thames Road where it proceeded to drive in the wrong lane of travel. As Officer Lang conducted a traffic stop on the Nissan, it then rolled backward, striking Ofc. Lang’s patrol cruiser.
The driver of the Nissan was identified as Jessica Gagne, 33 of Hooksett.
While speaking with Gagne, she was showing signs of impairment and agreed to field sobriety testing. Upon completion of the field sobriety testing, Gagne was placed under arrested and charged with Conduct After an Accident and Driving Under the Influence. Gagne was transported back to the Hooksett Police Department where she refused additional testing and was released on personal recognizance bail with a Hooksett Court date of July 20th, 2023.
No injuries were sustained as a result of either crash, and each vehicle only had minimal damage.
