Hooksett Police Arrest Man For Let's Play Collectibles Burglary

On February 20th at about 8AM, Hooksett Police responded to Lets Play Collectibles, a popular gaming store in the Manchester area that is located on Hooksett Road, for a report of a burglary that had occurred during the overnight hours. It was discovered that over $10,000 worth of merchandise had been stolen from the store during the burglary. Through the course of the investigation officers interviewed witnesses, and with the help of local businesses in the area, they were able to obtain video footage of the suspect and identify him as Nickolas Messier, 39 of Hooksett, NH.


Once Messier was identified, Officers applied for and were granted an arrest warrant for Messier as well as search warrants for Messiers’ motor vehicle and his residence. At about 10 PM on March 5th, Messier was taken into custody on the arrest warrant without incident during a motor vehicle stop on College Park Drive in Hooksett. Messier is being charged with two counts of Burglary (Felonies), two counts of Theft by Unauthorized Taking (Felonies), two counts of Receiving Stolen Property (Felonies), and Criminal Mischief (Misdemeanor).


Messier refused bail on the arrest warrant, was placed on a 72 hour hold by Probation and Parole and transported to the Merrimack County House of Corrections with a pending arraignment.


On March 6th the search warrants were executed on Messiers motor vehicle and residence in Hooksett which located a quantity of the stolen items from the burglary.
