Granite State Comicon Starts Tomorrow

Entertainment lovers of all different fandoms are on their way to Manchester for 3 days of panels, contests, meet-and-greets, and more.

Granite State Comicon is known as the "unofficial Ninja Turtle gathering," as the larger-than-life turtles were first drawn right here in New Hampshire (Dover, to be specific). But, one look at the event's schedule shows there is something for any entertainment lover.

Julian Glover of Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Game of Thrones fame will be speaking, as will Janet Varney of the Legend of Korra and WWE favorite Mick Foley. Costume and sketching contests will be held for both adults and kids, and collectibles of all sorts will be available to view and purchase.

For those already in the Fall spirit, actors and actresses from movies such as Hocus Pocus and Halloweentown will be in attendance and a special Hocus Pocus tour will be given in Salem, MA on Friday.

Beginning almost 20 years ago, Granite State Comicon has grown from a 1-day event to now a 3-day event, showing the love that Graniteers have for their favorite fandoms.
