Fugitive of the Week: Michael Dewhurst

The NH Department of Corrections is attempting to locate and arrest parole fugitive Michael Dewhurst.

Dewhurst is wanted for parole violations (Reckless Conduct/Deadly Weapon), absconding from supervision, and numerous other violations. Dewhurst has a history of convictions for Resisting Arrest/Detention and Disobeying an Officer. The NH Department of Corrections issued a parole warrant on 5/18/2023.

Dewhurst was last known residing in Laconia, NH prior to absconding and has been seen in Manchester, NH. Dewhurst's social media activity indicates he is from Saugus, MA and that he resides in Manchester, NH. Photos on social media show Dewhurst to have a brown/gray beard and mustache with his brown hair pulled back in a small ponytail.

Dewhurst has a nickname of ‘Ponytail Mike.’ He is known to wear a hoop earring in his left ear and has a clear bump on the corner of his left eyebrow.
