Fugitive of the Week Heather Dodge in Custody
The New Hampshire Department of Corrections announces the arrest of former Fugitive of the Week, Heather Sue Dodge. Dodge, 35, was wanted on a probation violation, stemming from underlying controlled drug act convictions: acts prohibited in that she knowingly had in her possession a schedule 1-4 controlled drug: fentanyl.
After learning she was featured as the department’s Fugitive of the Week on July 12, 2023, Dodge agreed to surrender. Following a couple of days of communication, Probation Parole Officers, with the assistance of New Hampshire State Police, were able to coordinate Dodge’s surrender on July 26, 2023. She was taken into custody without incident in Littleton. Dodge is currently being held at the Grafton County House of Corrections. The department appreciates the collaboration with our community law enforcement partners in these events.
The Fugitive of the Week program was launched by the Department of Corrections in March of this year to encourage public assistance in locating individuals who have absconded from supervision. Each Wednesday, the Department shares information on a specific fugitive through various communications platforms, and with law enforcement through the New Hampshire Information and Analysis Center.
