Arrest Warrant Issued In Apple Watch Thefts

An arrest warrant has been issued for 38-year-old Marcus Ramirez of Brooklyn, NY concerning the theft of more than $17,000 worth of Apple Watches from Best Buy on South Willow St last month.

Through the investigation, police determined that Ramirez is one of three individuals that went into the store on November 20, 2022, and worked together to take more than 50 Apple Watches. He is also wanted in connection with the theft of nearly $1500 worth of Google Nest Learning Thermostats from the same store on November 27, 2022.

Police are still working to identify other individuals involved in these incidents.
