Arrest Related to Overdose Death

On the afternoon of March 7, 2024, Tonya Hoisington, 34 of Manchester was arrested by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office at 45 Log Street without incident.

This arrest was the result of an overdose death investigation that began in September 2022. On the 26th of that month, Henry Devine, 36 of Manchester was found slumped over the wheel of a truck in the Walmart parking lot. He was unresponsive, and shortly after pronounced deceased.

Through the investigation, Hoisington was identified and in February of this year indicted by a grand jury for Acts Prohibited- Death Resulting as well as conspiracy to commit sale of a controlled drug. Hoisington is currently being held at the Valley Street Jail without bail.

This case was investigated by the Manchester Police Department with the assistance of the DEA HIDTA Overdose Death Strike Force and the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
