Man Arrested After Hitting Pedestrian Near Chestnut Street

On February 13, 2023, at approximately 4:10 PM, Manchester Police responded to the intersection of Brook and Chestnut Streets for an accident involving a motor vehicle and a pedestrian.

A 2004 Subaru Forester driven by 60-year-old Edmund Joyce of Goffstown had collided with a 64-year-old man from Manchester. The victim had a head injury and was taken to Catholic Medical center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Joyce was arrested and charged with DUI Impairment.
